Let’s Get Unstuck.

SpecIal Ed. Organization

As a special educator for 20 years and a mom of a child with a significant medical diagnosis, I deeply understand the challenges that come with navigating a diagnosis and advocating for your child. What surprised me most along this journey was just how much paperwork came along with it! Assessment results, medical forms, insurance papers, IEP and 504 plans - it feels endless and utterly overwhelming. If you are drowning in the inevitable paperwork that comes with your child’s or family member’s diagnosis, let’s work together to get it sorted and organized so that you can focus on the most important thing - being the best advocate possible, confident that you have the necessary examples and evidence to support you in your next meeting or appointment.

Layers of Support

I offer several options to accomplish the goal of getting your Special Ed. paperwork organized.

Some folks just need some direction and accountability, some would prefer that I take this enormous task completely off their plate and handle it for them, and some would like a hybrid plan with more elements of support and some tasks broken down that they can handle on their own.

Let’s work together to determine which support model works best for your individual needs and get it done.

MinImal Support

This might be the right option for you if you have already tried to organize some of the paperwork and have a semblance of a system but need some templates and direction, as well as accountability to finally finish.

MEdium Support

This might be the right option for you if you want some in-person support to establish the system, but then feel confident that you could complete a series of small tasks on your own with accountability check-ins.

Maximal Support

This might be the right option for you if you are feeling completely overwhelmed by all the paper and just want it to go away! I will quite literally take all your paper files and organize it for you, handing you back a binder where all the paper is in an order that makes sense and can now be used as a tool for advocating for your loved one. Or, I can also be present with you each step of the way as we work through each paper and file it into the binder system.
