Hi, I’m Kimberly Tavares.
Feeling stuck? I can relate.
Approaching 40 I found myself overworked and overwhelmed, with a family, kids, dogs, a house, and stuff. So much stuff. I was tired. Tired of tripping over things, things spilling out of closets, and piles of paper on every flat surface. As I worked to declutter my spaces, I found that it was really helping my mental health. Creating literal space in my home was creating space in my mind. I realized that all the things that I owned were sending me messages… clean me, wash me, put me away, laundry baskets filled with washed towels told me how lazy I was, unfiled piles of kids’ artwork told me I was a bad mom, unworn clothing taunted me to lose weight. With less inventory to manage came less negative messages and I felt like I could breathe better! Seeing how this journey to reduce the inventory in my home has helped me inspired me to help others in a similar way.
Does any part of my experience resonate with you? Are you feeling overwhelmed by clutter? Do you have an area in your home that just can’t seem to get, or stay clean? Are you drowning in paper piles? I’d love to help.
Or, maybe you keep a tidy home, but need help with a specific project or space. I can help with that too.
My Approach
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
